At the outset, I am grateful to each one of you for reposing confidence in me and providing an opportunity to serve the profession as a torch bearer towards our revolutionized success.

Indeed the profession of Company Secretaries is venerating the era of transformation with the observation of dynamic and innovative avenues including Insolvency Professional, Registered Valuer and alike.

To facilitate smooth sailing with the louder accomplishments, ICSI is equipped to provide passable assistance to its stakeholders through disseminating knowledge, strengthening academic base, facilitating excellent training system and creating opportunities for all streams of the profession.

In alignment, the Council of the Institute have already identified Vision 2022” encompassing all these dimensions. The effective implementation of Vision 2022 would be beneficial not only to all stakeholders but also will prove as catalyst in developing New India.

In the last 50 years, we all stood shoulder to shoulder in taking the profession to the level of glory. It would be a challenge as well as an opportunity for my team to register value addition and strengthen the Institute for an encompassing advancement of the profession serving for the benefit of all stakeholders.

I not only hope, but am sure to receive positive support for the momentous progress of our profession.
