The ICSI Kozhikode Chapter organized a Career Awareness Programme (CAP) at MAMO College, Mukkam on 15th August 2025 for the final-year degree students, as part of its continued efforts to promote the Company Secretary (CS) profession among young graduates.

The session was led by CS Abdurahiman Irshad Pilathottathil, who delivered an engaging and informative presentation on the opportunities and career prospects in the field of Company Secretaryship. He highlighted the significance of the CS profession in corporate governance, compliance, and strategic management.

Students were introduced to the CS course structure, eligibility criteria, registration process, and examination details. The session also covered the coaching options offered by the ICSI Kozhikode Chapter, along with tips on balancing degree studies with professional course preparation.

The ICSI Kozhikode Chapter successfully organized a Career Awareness Programme (CAP) at Farook College (Autonomous), reaching out to nearly 300 undergraduate students through three insightful and interactive sessions.
 

Speaker Session Highlights

CS Sandeep Kumar P led the sessions, delivering a comprehensive overview of the Company Secretary (CS) profession. His presentation included:

  • The personal and professional advantages of pursuing a career as a Company Secretary.

  • The role of a Company Secretary in contributing to good governance and the national economy.

  • Detailed insights into the CS course structure, including its various stages and the registration timeline for the CSEET.

  • Information on coaching facilities offered by the ICSI Kozhikode Chapter, including physical, online, and hybrid modes.

As part of the Student Month celebrations, the ICSI Kozhikode Chapter successfully organized a Career Awareness Programme (CAP) at A.K.M. Higher Secondary School, Malappuram District, on July 25, 2025.
 

The programme saw the enthusiastic participation of approximately 220 students from Grades 11 and 12, representing various academic streams. The sessions were conducted in classroom settings, where students were introduced to the Company Secretary (CS) course and the professional opportunities it offers.
 

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the Principal of A.K.M. HSS, who inaugurated the session and emphasized the importance of early career awareness and planning among school students.
 

The core session was led by CS Abdurahiman Irshad Pilathottathil, who delivered an insightful and engaging presentation. He elaborated on the role and responsibilities of a Company Secretary, the structure and stages of the CS course, and the diverse career avenues available upon qualification. As part of Student Month celebrations, the ICSI Kozhikode Chapter successfully conducted a Career Awareness Programme (CAP) at St. Joseph's Boys Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode on July 16, 2025.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 142 students, primarily from Grades 11 and 12, representing various academic streams. The sessions were held in the classrooms, where students were introduced to the Company Secretary (CS) course and its career prospects.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Sebastian, who warmly welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of career planning at the school level.

CS Sandeep Kumar Panakkat led the core session with an engaging and informative presentation. The ICSI Kozhikode Chapter organized a successful Career Awareness Programme (CAP) on May 12th at MUM Vocational Higher Secondary School, Vatakara.

The event was attended by approximately 140 students from various academic backgrounds, with a special focus on those who had recently completed their 12th grade. The sessions were conducted in the classrooms, where students received detailed insights into the Company Secretary (CS) course.

The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Hajara K. K., Principal of MUM VHSS, who warmly welcomed the students.

CS Sandeep Kumar Panakkat led the session with a comprehensive presentation on the role of a Company Secretary, the structure of the CS course, and the diverse career opportunities available in the field. The presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session, during which students’ individual queries were addressed in detail.

Career Awareness Programme (CAP) at Ramakrishna Mission HSS, Kozhikode on Jan 3rd and 4th 2025



The ICSI Kozhikode chapter successfully conducted a career Awareness Programme (CAP) on January 3rd and 4th, 2025, at the Ramakrishna Mission Higher secondary school, Kozhikode. This event was organized for approximately 840 students across various academic levels, specifically for the 11th and 12th graders. The programme took place in the schools auditorium, where detailed information about the company secretary (cs) course was also provided to interested students.

A total of over 30 schools participated in the career Fair, with an attendance of 840 students. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Manoj Kumar G, Principal of the Ramakrishna Mission HSS, who extended a warm welcome to all faculty members and students.

During the session, Mr. Sipoy satish Kumar, ln-charge of the ICSI Kozhikode chapter delivered an in-depth preseniation on the role of a Company Secretary.the CS course and the various career opportunities available within the profession. Thesession also included a Q&A segment where students individual queries were addressed thoroughly.

Overall, the event proved to be highly successful, fostering significant interest in the Company Secretary profession among the students.

The ICSI Kozhikode Chapter recently conducted a Career Awareness Programme (CAPS) at St. Joseph Anglo Indian Girls High School. The event featured a speech by CS Sandeep Kumar P, who highlighted the benefits of choosing a career as a Company Secretary.

During his talk, Sandeep Kumar emphasized how pursuing a career in Company Secretaryship can be advantageous not only for individuals but also for contributing to the economy. He provided detailed information about the Company Secretary (CS) course, including its various stages and the appropriate times for students to register for the CSEET (Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test).

Additionally, he discussed the coaching provided by the ICSI Kozhikode Chapter, which aims to support aspiring Company Secretaries in their educational journey.

We would like to extend our special thanks to the school principal for providing this opportunity to inform and inspire the 12th-grade students. A total of 160 students attended the programme, making it a successful and enriching experience for all involved.
