OBJECTIVE
To present an opportunity to professionals to share and
exchange views and thoughts upon the intricacies involved in the hitherto
infrequently deliberated issues under the provisions of Sections 209A, 235 to
240 and from 397 to 409 of the Companies Act, 1956 together with discussing the
need of Transparency in Presentations and Disclosures in various Company
Publications and Documents for good governance and better compliance under
Listing Regulations, Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957 and the
Companies Act, 1956;
These provisions are related to
overall corporate compliance, governance and management and require
comprehensive understanding of law and enterprise together with presentation
and analytical skills for deft handling.
Deliberations on these issues at such level provide good
but rare opportunity to the delegates to help themselves become better
corporate consultants.
SPECIAL FEATURE
The Chapter is already undergoing with the exercise of
entering useful Memorandum of Understandings with institutions like DAVV, MCC
and PAS. Technical Sessions will be addressed by highly placed and
