MOU with NLS Bangalore
| Another milestone development has been signing of an MOU with National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Appreciating each other's activities in promoting excellence in professional and legal education, the MOU, interalia, provides for holding jointly workshops and seminars, continuing education and training programmes, for the benefit of members. Exchange of journals, course materials, case studies, research publications and other academic and research inputs, undertaking joint research projects, developinfg jointly study material under Distance Education Programme, Exchange of Faculty, sharing of facilities like infrastructure, library etc. have also been provided. The new partnership will usher in a new era of excellance in professional education and training and help in building new skills in company secretaries to function as legal advisors. Another aspect of the MOU is the recognition, of the membership of the Institute as equivalent to their Master's Degree in Business Laws. This will enable Institute's members to join Ph. D Course in National Law School of India University. |
